On August 26, the review results for the 2026 National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects were announced. Nankai Business School was awarded 15 projects, the highest number since 2020. These include 5 Young Scientists Fund projects, 9 General Program projects, and 1 Research Fund for International Scientists project, with total funding of RMB 5.37 million and an approval rate of 51.7%. This year also marks the first time the School has received a Research Fund for International Scientists project, which will help further enhance the discipline’s international influence in international academic exchange. Details of the approved projects are shown in the table below.

With strong institutional support, the School has continued to strengthen organized research. It held more than 30 lectures in the “Fuguo Business Biweekly Academic Forum” series, nearly 10 interdisciplinary application-sharing sessions and Fuguo Business Academic Forums in total, and invited experts to provide multiple rounds of guidance, providing strong support for faculty applications. The School will continue to respond to major concerns of economic and social development with rigorous theory, focus on serving national strategic needs, and strive forward on its new development path.
