On July 5, 2026, Nankai Business School hosted the 18th Nankai University Doctoral Forum on Intelligent Business and Operations Management. Themed “Innovation in Business and Operations Management under Digital-Intelligence Integration,” it drew over 160 participants and featured 51 papers, with keynotes on data element pricing, platform governance, and causal inference. Dean Bai Changhong urged doctoral students to uphold Nankai’s mission of enriching the nation through business, address China’s practical management challenges through digital technology, and pursue interdisciplinary, responsible research. Previously known as the Doctoral Forum on Management Science and Engineering, the forum was renamed this year to reflect digital-intelligence integration and has become a signature School event and a key part of doctoral training.
