From May 29 to 30, 2026, the 9th Annual Conference on Sustainable Operations and Management was held at Nankai University. Hosted by the Systems Engineering Society of China and Nankai University, the conference was themed “Sustainable Operations Management: Resilience and Efficiency.” It featured 185 presentations and attracted 506 participants from 151 universities, research institutes, and enterprises, a record high. Sessions focused on supply chain resilience, digital operations, and low-carbon development. The conference also elected new leadership for the Professional Committee and announced papers recommended to Sustainable Operations and Computers. China University of Petroleum (East China) will host the next conference.
